Simon Calderbank from Big Knows is an expert in leadership development and uses his coaching skills to help people become more positive, more focused, and to be their very best no matter what life throws at you.
What’s more is that Simon is also one of our very loving and loyal DISCiples! He works with us at DISCsimple, using the DISC tool, to help bring his clients clarity and perspective as well as improving their relationships at work and at home. (Yes, it’s true! DISC is not only a useful tool for your professional lives but can help you with your personal ones as well!)
One of Simon’s clients was struggling to communicate and understand their teenage daughter. With the help of Simon (and the DISC behavioural tool of course), she began to see that what she thought of as ‘bad behaviour’ was just the way her daughter reacts to a certain situation based on her DISC style.
Simon’s client developed a deeper understanding of her family and see from their profiles, her daughter was not like herself and her son was almost a carbon copy. Thanks to the help from Simon and DISCsimple, she could now approach problems from a different angle and is truly able to appreciate her daughter’s strengths.
Simon is positive, rewarding, and provides growth for everyone involved, (including two angst-y teenagers).
‘Anyone who feels that they are a sharing a home with Kevin and Perry do not lose hope. Because help is just around the corner in the least painful and most cost-effective solution.’
Keeping things simple in a complicated world.
