Glen Maxwell

Glen Maxwell-Heron spent 13 years as an Engineer Officer in the Royal Navy, serving both at sea and in shore jobs learning how to motivate teams and lead people in challenging operational and project environments. After leaving the service, he spent 10 years delivering multi-million pound IT and business change projects for the Government and banking sectors. These involved extensive team building and leadership activities to deliver projects in large organisation across functions, which was great experience in how organisations work.
In 2008 he had an opportunity to spend nearly 4 years in Japan where he worked as a business consultant delivering organisational change for ex-patriot companies and preparing Japanese executives for leading other cultures.
When he returned to the UK in 2012, Glen gained accreditation from the British Psychological Society to use psychometric instruments to test for both personality and ability. This was to increase the breadth of techniques available to him to deliver changes in leadership style in organisations.
Since then he had delivered well-received and effective interventions in organisations varying in size from 15 to 3000+ using his previous varied experience to use relevant materials to achieve strong attendee buy-in.
