At DISCsimple we have many wonderful associates spreading the word of DiSC – Business professionals who use the DISC tool in their own business to help their clients who have gone through our kickstart course. Our Kickstart course provides participants with the expertise and knowledge to encourage understanding of themselves and others through DISC. It works on the application of the DISC tool in real-life situations to better help them and their clients.
Why Do We Call Them DISCiples?
So why do we call our associates DISCiples? Well, there are 2 reasons:
The first is that the dictionary definition of DISCiple is
- One who embraces and assists in spreading the teachings of another.
- An active adherent, as of a movement or philosophy.
In this sense we at DISCsimple and our associates spread the teachings of DISC far and wide and we each use it in our work and daily life.
And the second is less literal – we really like to squeeze DISC into conversation whenever we can – in our DISCovery sessions and all our DISCussions. It is a strong DISCipline we encourage everyone to get behind!
What Do They Get?
Well, if you become one of our well-loved DISCiples, you become part of our DISCsimple community. We have built a safe space where our DISCiples can share their ideas, and knowledge, and inspire each other, as well as build business connections. Furthermore, they help promote our vision of everyone in the world having a DISC profile.
Our Kickstart programme provides an introduction to DISCsimple and deeper learning into DiSC reports and assessments.
We host a weekly live show on a Monday to dial up the learning and a monthly community call, as well as offering 1-2-1 support and coaching with each member to guide them through their journey with DISCsimple champion to give the best possible tools to succeed.
Practically we offer profiles and assessments at competitive rates and DISCounted educational courses through our DISChool, where industry experts in Emotional Intelligence, Word of Mouth Marketing, Sales and more add value.
We also love to celebrate our DISCiple’s successes and will periodically showcase their talents on our LinkedIn and Facebook pages.
We believe that we are better together and as humans, we all need to build connections. If you need help in using and understanding DISC, our network and extended national network can help. Just ask us! It really is as simple as that.

Why DISC has become a genuine day-to-day tool
Companies are never made up of just one type of person with a certain set of strengths and weaknesses. Teams are complex, varied and dynamic; it’s what makes them wonderful, and it also presents a number of challenges!
Mark Scullard’s fascinating insight into “Boreout”
An emerging trend in the world of work is called “boreout.” Described as a state of chronic boredom, while simultaneously feeling a high degree of overwhelm due to the demands of a job, boreout is having a major impact on organizations everywhere.
How DISC helps the team work effectively together
Does being organised result in better efficiency? Does structure stifle creativity and ideation?
Does an unstructured approach create difficulties for your colleagues? Does a lack of structure mean you are no good at your job?
Under The Hood
Conflict is an uncomfortable, yet unavoidable part of every workplace. But we don’t always realize the level of harm caused by the toxic behaviours that come along with it. Unproductive conflict is a measurable drag on productivity, performance, and the bottom line. Yet conflict—if done right—is integral to success.

What Are Your Clients Saying About You?
Mel offered us a great analogy “review platforms are like your shop window”, keep them fresh and attended to. If someone is looking for something you want them to be attracted to come and take a closer look, and if left unattended….. well, the answer is pretty obvious, isn’t it?
